Train Spring and Weathered elk Antler

This was a blade I made from a piece of train coil spring I found while walking the tracks one day. The fixtures are brass and the handle is weathered Elk Antler. It was checked badly from the eliments but once it dried thoroughly I filled the checks with black cyanoacrylate. Boy what a contrast. Polish it up to 3000 grit and it it with a little compound and wow you got a nice looking handle. Well just goes to show even the old and decrepid can look good with a little spit and polish.
