Cable in a can Bowie was made by putting as much cable as I could stuff into a 4x4x6 inch square steel tube. Then I filled all the gaps with powder steel, 1084 and nickel. The blade was forged from the resultant billet, a heat blued mild steel s guard and black dyed and stabilized maple handle complete the package.
